New parish priest Fr Michael Murphy was welcomed to Mountmellick by Town Councillors at their monthly meeting last Thursday evening.

New parish priest Fr Michael Murphy was welcomed to Mountmellick by Town Councillors at their monthly meeting last Thursday evening.

Cllr Bobby Delaney expressed delight that retiring PP Fr Francis McNamara was going to stay on in Mountmellick as a curate. He also extended good wishes and thanks to departing curate Fr Eddie Kavanagh.
