Late Hennessey

The death took place in Drake land Nursing Home, Kilkenny following a long illness of Celie Hennessey, formerly Swan Road, Durrow. A member of a much loved and highly respected family in the community the late Celie was a lovely person and will be sadly missed by her family, neighbours and friends. Predeceased by her husband James, the late Celie looked after her husband for over fifteen years during his illness. She is survived by her sons Ian, Kieran, Fintian and Dominic, daughters Concepta, Finnoula and Joanne, brothers, sister, sons in law, daughters in law, grandchildren and great grandchildren, relatives and huge circle of friends. Her remains were removed from Phelan’s Funeral home on Tuesday evening to the Church of the Most Holy Trinity Durrow and was laid to rest in the family plot in the adjoining cemetery following Requiem mass on Wednesday morning. The large attendance at her removal and Burial was a tribute to the high esteem that everyone had for Celie and the Hennessey family. May she rest in peace. Sincerest sympathy is extended to the Hennessey Family.
