Sympathy is extended to Joe and Josie Gleeson, Knockardgannon and Kathleen Martin and family, Village View on the death of their brother -in-law Paddy Kavanagh, Clareviewpark, Ballybane, Galway. Sympathy is extended to his wife and family and all his relatives and friends He was removed on Saturday morning from his home, to St. Bridgit’s Chuch, Ballybane for Requiem Mass. Burial took place afterwards to the New Cemetery, Bohermore. May he rest in peace.


Rathdowney/Errill Hurling club and St Brigid’s Camógie club are hosting “Strictly Come Dancing” in the Templemore Arms on Saturday March 1. Preparations are well under-way for what will be an to be an enjoyable night for all. Tickets on first come first served basis from Hurling and Camogie committees.

The AGM of Errill Fianna Fáil will be held on Friday 24th January in tea room of St. Bernadette’s Hall at 8:00pm. Local TD and Councillors will attend. All are welcome.

Late Mary Paul Clancy

Condolences to the family of the late Mary Paul Clancy (nee Campion) late of Dun Laoghaire and Errill, who died on January 12 in the care of the Beacon Hospital, after a long illness. Sadly missed by her husband John, sons Conor, Eoin daughters, Sheila, Emer brothers and sisters, Fr. Con, Sr. Eileen, Breda, Br. Seamus, Sr. Angela, extended family relatives and many friends. Reposed in Fanagans Funeral Home Dundrum, Dublin. Funeral Mass in the Church of St John the Evangelist, Ballinteer, followed by burial in Shanganagh Cemetery. Donations in lieu of flowers to the Blackrock Hospice.
