GAA club Break In

Once again our club has been targeted by mindless thugs who were not only intent on stealing valuable tools and equipment but also causing the maximum amount of mindless vandalism. Electric drills, plaster mixers and other tools were stolen from the clubrooms between the hours of 4-30pm and 7pm on Monday May 26.

Infuriating as it is that this robbery took place and the fact that we have installed a copper free plumbing system, the level of wanton vandalism goes beyond comprehension.

When one considers the hours of work that has been put into redeveloping the facilities at our club grounds by members, on a totally voluntary basis, it is not surprising that there is a lot of anger over this incident. However the club is determined, despite this setback which has cost us in the region of €2600, the redevelopment continues apace. Last weekend our new pitches were mowed for the first time.

We would appeal to the public that
