It’s the start of the new season and training for A and B teams has commenced on Monday nights at 7.30pm and new players are very welcome. Whist night that runs on Wednesdays will take a summer break until early September and they would like to take this opportunity to thank all those who supported the whist.

MISSIONARY SISTERS OF ST PETER CLAVER
A member of the Missionary Sisters of St Peter Claver will be the parish on August 23/24 to appeal on behalf of the missions. They will tell you about the work of the Sisters and will be grateful for your financial support. If you would like to support their work you can leave your donation in the red bag and anything over and above will be forwarded to the sisters.
The retreat will take place on Thursday August 28 in St Fiacc’s House from 10.30am to 3.30pm. The cost is €10 and this includes lunch and afternoon tea. Names and money should be handed into the parish centre.
We are going to celebrate our 40th anniversary of the Graiguecullen/Killeshin Lourdes Invalid Fund in 2016. In order to make it special in 2016 there will be no parish pilgrimage in 2015. As there is a lot of interest in travelling in 2016 and there are only going to be a certain number of places available, we are asking that anyone who is planning to travel please give their name and a €20 deposit to parish office or Ursula Hayden at the Thatch Bar.
