The August Bank holiday weekend has various events and entertainment planned. See our weekly advertisement for more details.
The Camross CES held their annual Race Night recently in the Camross Inn. The event was a huge success with 367 horses sold. Between sponsorship, betting on the night, the raffle and the horses just over €7100 was raised. This is a fantastic achievement considering the population of our parish. The response from individuals and families to this fundraiser was terrific and a sincere thank you to all who supported it. Also thank you to all who went about the difficult job of selling the horses and those who helped out on and before the night.
Our dancers are heading off soon and are preparing for the long trip to Derry.
