Scout meetings will soon be resuming. We will be having a registration night in the Scout den at Camross Hall, on Sept 25th from 7-8pm. Registration to Scouting Ireland is €45 per child. It is important we get a full attendance as places are limited, and any child not registered will not be guaranteed a place. We want to thank Maria Dunne for all her help and commitment last year, unfortunately Maria will not be with us this coming year, so I would ask people to think about volunteering some time to our local Scout group. Help is especially needed for hikes.
Camross Youth Loft Café for the Foroige will reopen on Friday night next the 26th of September at 8.30pm until 10.00pm. All young adults from 1st to 6th year are very welcome. We lookforward to seeing you all there.
Sincere sympathy is extended to Breda O’Brien the Rushin road (Wife of the late Bill) on the untimely death of her sister Anne Delaney of Aughafan Castletown who passed away on Thursday September 17th.
Anne had been in failing health but her death caused widespread sadness over a wide area. Having reposed at her residence her remains were removed to St Edmunds Church Castletown on Friday morning for Requiem Mass followed by burial in Churchtown cemetery.
Chief mourners are her husband Paddy daughters Carol and Patricia and son Darren, sisters Terry (Maguire), Breda (O’Brien) and Ita (Fitzpatrick), brothers Gerry and John, Sons-in-law, daughter-in-law, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends
May she rest in peace
