PEER SUPPORT PROGRAMME
Graiguecullen Killeshin Parish Rainbows Group is offering a 14 week Peer Support Programme for young people who have experienced loss through the death of a close relative, separation or other painful change in their family. The programme will commence in mid-October. Applications must be returned to the Parish Centre by Wednesday October 02. Contact Anne at 0876636499.
BLESSING OF PETS
To coincide with the Feast of St Francis, Patron Saint of animals, birds and all pets, there will be a special blessing of pets on Friday 04 October at 6pm at the Parish Centre. Adults and children are invited to bring their pets along for this special blessing.

Parish Finance Committee AGM will be held on Wednesday 09 October at 8pm in the Parish centre. Any parishioner with queries regarding parish finances are invited to attend this meeting. The new parish finance committee will also be elected at this meeting.

Thursday Morning Club has resumed after 10am Mass in St Clare’s. Parishioners are invited into the Parish centre after Mass for a cuppa and a chat.

Boxes of envelopes are now available at the doors of our churches and we ask each family to take a box and use the envelopes to make your contributions to the Parish Development Fund and other special collections. The first week of our First Communion, Confirmation and Commitment programme for the children of St Fiacc’s NS and their families takes place at the 6.30pm Mass next Saturday 28 September in St Clare’s. The first week of the First Communion Programme for the children of Killeshin NS and their families takes place on Sunday 29 September at the 10.15am Mass in Holy Cross.
YOUTH MINISTRY SPACE
Pope John Paul II Award Meeting for all current participants will take place on this Thursday 26 September at 6.30pm in the Parish Centre. Completed Reflections & Record Cards can be handed in to reception in the Parish Centre. Participants that have not yet completed their reflections should contact Cathriona as soon as possible. Parish Launch for new intake of JPII students for 2013/2014 will take place on the same night at 8pm in the Parish Centre. Please come along to find out more about this award. On Sunday 29 September JPII participants past, present and future are invited to take part in a walk in conjunction with Laois Connects promoting positive mental health and wellbeing.
