Strictly - The Movie
All roads lead to Mountrath GAA Field on Saturday September 21 at 3 pm. There will be a camera crew coming that day to make a short comedy promotional movie for the Strictly Come Dancing Show to be shown on the night. What we need is 100 people or more to come along as extras for the movie. It won’t take long and will fun. All ages are very welcome to take part.

TRIBUTE TO JIM TYNAN
Our condolesences go out to the family of the late Jimmy Tynan who passed away during the week. He was a native of Mountrath and ran Jim’s Country Kitchen in Portlaoise for over 20 years. He also wrote some cook books which were very successful. He will be greatly missed by the community.
Late Claire O’Hara
Conodolences to the family of the late Claire O’Hara (nee Bennett), Beresford Avenue, Dublin 9 and formerly of Deerpark, Ballyfin, who died suddenly at Beaumont Hospital on Saturday, September 14. Claire, beloved wife of John and mother of Caroline, Adrienne, and Louise is also sadly missed by extended family, relatives and friends. Reposed at her home with funeral Mass at Corpus Christi Church, Dublin with burial afterwards in Ballyfin Cemetery.
