The National Community Games Awards were held in Derry on Sunday November 24. Anita Byrne attended on behalf of Emo Rath Community Games.

We received the award for best area in the county for our participation in the highest number of events and as an area we came third over all at Leinster level which is an amazing achievement considering just how many areas would be considered for this place, Laois alone would have a possible ten areas. So third place at Leinster level - Emo Rath you’re looking good.

If you need advice or help please have a chat with any ot the committee members, David Keenan, Claire Johnston, Deirdre Lawlor, Grace Balfe, Barbara Dunne, Anita Byrne, Dominica Scully Martin Gleeson Mary Keegan Linda Greene and Emer Maguire.

We look forward to another successful year in 2013/2014.
