Park Ratheniska

There was a large attendance at the AGM of Ratheniska Community Alert which took place on Thursday 30 January. The chairman Har Ramsbottom welcomed everyone and on behalf of the committee thanked all for their continued support. There was a short review of the year past with special mention going to the success of the text alerting system. A discussion was also held in relation to the possibility of erecting CCTV cameras in the area. Residents were once again asked to be extra vigilant as only in the past week or so a number of break ins were carried out in the area.

The following committee were elected, Chairman Har Ramsbottom, Vice Chairman Mervyn McGahey, Secretary Kate Ramsbottom, Assistant Secretary Clive Carter, Treasurer Liam Wall and PRO John Grace.

A reminder was made to all members of the community alert area that subscriptions for 2014 are due by Friday, March 7 and can be given to local co-ordinators.
