A meeting will be held in Ballyroan Community Hall on Monday,July 7 at 8pm. The purpose of the meeting is to consider a response to An Bord Pleanala’s decision to grant permission for the Cullenagh wind farm.

Walks FEstival

Laois County Council is hosting a National Play Day event from 2pm on Sunday, July 6 during the Laois Walks Festival at Rockview Walkways, Cashel, Ballyroan for children aged from 2 to 12 (accompanied by an adult).

Walk the second highest point in Laois at Cullenagh on Thursday, July 24. Meeting at Ballyroan Community Hall at 7.30pm the 8km walk will take two hours.

Tea party

Ballyroan Ladies Football are hosting a Tea Party in Scully’s bar and lounge in Ballyroan on the 5th of July at 8pm. Great hosts with great food followed by music and raffle. Admission €10. All welcome to attend, your support appreciated.

Arts and crafts

Children’s art and craft club takes place in Ballyroan Community Centre. Starts Friday July 4 and runs from 10am-12pm. For details contact Sylvia at 086 3450964.
