Annual outing is on Wednesday July 9, leaving the village at 8.30 am sharp. The trip will include tea & Scones in Wineport Lodge, Dinner in Cong, Cruise on Lough Corrib and The Quiet Man Locations Tour Our tea will be served in Glasson Hotel on our way home. Cake Sale n aid of Neurosurgery Fund - Beaumont Hospital Foundation on Saturday July 12 at the Macra Hall, Mountmellick (beside Golden Grill) from 10am to 3pm. There will be plenty of home baking and a raffle on the day. Your support would be greatly appreciated.

Rosenallis AFC held their annual fundraiser celebrating the club’s 40th year on Sunday, June 22 with 13 brave supporters doing a parachute jump in Clonbullogue. Congrats to all. Full report next week.
late annie murphy
Deepest sympathy to the Murphy Family, Shanbeg on the passing of Mrs Annie Murphy nee Hickey of Shanbeg, Rosenallis on June 10. Annie passed away peacefully in the care of Oak Dale Nursing Home surrounded by her family. Predeceased by her husband Joe, Annie will be sadly missed by Bridie, Andy, Marion, Peter and Noel and their families, relatives and
