The GAA club would like to thank everyone who signed up for the recent fundraising initiative and would like to say that despite recent results the support shown to the club is great.
We should be proud of the facilities we have and look forward to future developments, in particular the extra pitch.
Let’s help keep the village clean and tidy as we enter the winter period of the year. Also Christmas hampers are now on sale in Delaney’s and Bergin’s and all funds are to help keep the village clean.
Please continue to use whatever security measures you have in your homes to deter burglaries.
Also keep an eye on your neighbour, particularly those that are vulnerable and elderly.
The heritage centre remains open every day from 11am to 2pm.
Kathleen Mooney. the centre’s overseer has finished her year long contract and we wish her all the best, Kathleen has done Trojan work in the last year and is going to be missed.
We also wish Charlotte Mc Donald the very best as she takes on the role in the centre. Please call into the heritage centre and bring guests.
Well done to club member Richard Mansworth upon reaching his second audition for Britain’s Got talent! We are proud of him, well done to Richard.
