The club would like to remind everyone of the monthly draw and encourage all to participate in the draw, details from any club memeber, remember it’s local money for local people. The club would also like to thank Damien Bowe and his band for providing the music for the recent wild west night, Damien always supports the cause and we’re grateful for that.

There are a number of bogus people calling to elderly people throughout the country offering to install Saorview. Saorview is free and there should be no charge to install it, you either need a Saorview box or your purchase a Saorveiw ready TV. Perhaps we could all check with those less vulnerable to ensure they are not been conned.

The text system is live and road agents will call to people to advise on its usage. The most important thing is to make sure never ever text back to the system as this is charged to the scheme and is the main reason of high costs. In other areas people have been taken off the scheme for texting back. Any information can be texted to the number such as car details etc and people are encouraged to use it, and when you receive a message/information never text back.
