LIVERPOOL SUPPORTERS CLUB AGM
The Laois branch of the Official Liverpool Supporters Clubs will hold its AGM in Napper Tandy’s back function room, Stradbally on Wednesday July 11 at 8pm. The Stradbally parish Neighbourhood Watch will hold their church gate collection at all masses on this weekend, July 7 and 8. Your continued support will be much appreciated.
OAKVALE CEMETERY COMMITTEE
The Oakvale Cemetery Committee would like to thank everyone who subscribed so generously to the cemetery collection on Thursday, June 21. Amount collected €1,210.
Stradbally Parish Gaels would like to thank everyone who helped in any way in making Feile Laois/Offaly the outstanding success it turned out to be in the parish. The club we hosted, New York went on to become All Ireland champions and went home to America singing our praises and speaking so highly of the hospitality, organisation and friendliness of the people, which greatly contributed to the capturing of the cup. Our own team lost first two games but won last game by 13 points.
VOLUNTARY MISSIONARY MOVEMENT
Next weekend, we will welcome the Voluntary Missionary Movement to the our parish. VMM is an international lay Catholic development organisation founded in 1969. VMM recruits, trains and supports skilled volunteerd with professional or technical expertise to work in areas of need in Africa, Asia and Latin America. Currently they are supporting more than 50 volunteers in 10 countries on a variety of missionary and developing programmes. To help support the missionary work of VMM an exit door collection will take place at all másses. Please subscribe generously.

Stradbally ICA summer draw takes place on our monthly meeting on July 3 in St Patrick’s Hall. First prize €200, second prize hamper, third prize €75, fourth prize hamper and fifth prize €25. Tickets are only €2 each or book of three for €5. Your support would be greatly appreciated.

VICARSTOWN ACTIVE RECREATIONAL

The Irish speaking summer camp for 12-16 year olds, to hit Timahoe this summer July 23 to August 4 in Timahoe Hall. Fun games, drama, art, sport - all in an Irish speaking environment. Giving your children the chance to improve their Irish. Contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
