Mass on Friday evening to coinside with the Eucharist Congress Feast of Sacred Heart and Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament was well attended. From now on exposition is from 7pm and mass is at 7.30pm. A good number of people from the parish attended Croke Park on Sunday for the Congress. Tickets were a little more plentiful towards the weekend and the weather was quite good so we hope that all who travelled enjoyed it. It was wonderful to watch on TV.

The barbacue at the weekend was as usual a huge success and no doubt enjoyable.

A big thanks to all who so generously supported the shave and dye night which was held in Camross Community Hall. A sum of €900.10 was raised on the night.

The Camross Community Employment Scheme (CES) is holding a race night on Saturday night July 28. This is because the money the Camross CES receives for buying petrol, weed killer, cement etc has been halved since last year. If we are to continue maintaining our community in the way that we have been we will have to raise money. The cost is €20 per horse and your support would be greatly appreciated. Also any business that is interested in sponsoring a race can do so by contacting Aidan on 057 87 35016.
