Scoil Bhríde would like to thank parents and members from the local Tidy Towns committee for their support and help in organising and taking part in our ‘Green Day’ which was held on June 1. It was a very enjoyable day and the school garden and grounds are looking colourful because of it. We would especially like to thank Slieve Bloom Nurseries for their generous donations of flowers and plants for the day. We also thank everyone who donated buns and cakes for our bake sale. We raised €320 for Amy O’Neill’s charity work in Kenya this summer. As part of this sale we sold copies of our Scoil Bhríde baking book with recipes donated from the local community. If you would like to purchase a copy of this book please ring the school between 2-4pm on 057 8648334. Cost for book is €3.
