Honours awarded to long serving Laois firefighters

Laois firefighters have recieved formal recognition of their dedicated service to the county.

Long Service Awards have been issued to eight Laois men who have served from 20 to 30 years on fire and rescue missions across Laois.

The proud day for the Laois County Fire and Rescue Service men, both serving and retired, was held in Trim, Meath on Thursday, November 17, from the National Directorate for Fire and Emergency Management.
