IN PICTURES: Great day for big and small Laois tractors

Ballyroan was the place to be for tractor fans of all ages when the Ballyroan Vintage Club staged a hugely successful tractor runs.

Apart from the great display of  70 grown up classics, the club also held its first ever Juniour tractor run which attraced a fantastic turn out with around 30 children taking part. Local man Tony Mulhall had has camera on hand on the day and supplied some great pictures to the Leinster Express / Laois Live. To read a little more about the day see below picture. A young member of the club lead the way on his beautifully restored Ferguson 35 tractor from the Chapel to Ballyroan Community Hall where there was photos taken and a goodie bag for all the children.

The Vintage tractor run headed off shortly after 12pm with around 70 tractors for their tour to as far as Heywood and into Abbeyleix then back to Sky's Oer for some hot soup and sandwiches.
