Golden Jubilee

Tom Earley,eldest son of the late Mai & James Earleyis celebrating his golden jubilee of his joining the Christain Brothers. Fifty years ago ,he left Monasterevin on August 17 to join the Brothers. He is having his Jubilee Mass on Saturday 17 August at 6.30pm in St Peter & Pauls Church. Tom Earley studied to become a primary teacher in Colaiste Mhuire, Marino. He taught in primary schools in Limerick, Dublin and Cork. Tom then studied to become a secondary teacher and he taught in secondary schools in Portlaoise,Portarlington and Naas.He also taught in Synge Street CBS, Dublin for 20 years from where he reired. Tom has worked Summers in Zambia, Sierra Leone, Kenya and South Africia.He has done 20 years voluntary work in Lourdes during Easter and in Belarus during Summer holidays. Tom now is doing one to one voluntary teaching in the Life Centre in Cherry Orchard. Congratulations to Tom on his Golden Jubilee and great credit is due to him on all his endevours.
