Stradbally parish gaels are holding their annual fundraiser walk this year on Thursday, May 29 at 7.30pm. It will be held in Oakvale Woods this year with two circuits. One for 4km and for the more seasoned walker-runner there is a 6km circuit. All parents, players both young and old from the three senior clubs and supporters are welcome.


A meeting of the Stradbally Parish Council will be held in the Parochial House on tonight, Tuesday, May 20 commencing at 8pm sharp.


All juveniles meet at Stradbally Lake on Saturday, May 24 at 11.30am to form a juvenile club. All juveniles will collect their rods and reels sponsored by Stradbally Angling Club. Lessons will be given on the day. All juvenile girls fishing will be supervised by senior ladies. Refreshments on the day. All welcome. A great day’s outing assured.

The Irish Hospice Foundation has announced the National Hospice Sunflower Days collection for local Hospice services will take place on Friday, June 6 and Saturday, June 7.
