Mountrath GAA have over the past year being redeveloping the grounds with a €200,000 investment. To facilitate this the club teams from U6 to Senior have been training on a temporary pitch on the Shannon rd. The pitch does not meet the minimum requirements for adult games, so all the games are played away or we have been facilitated by our neighbouring clubs of which we are very appreciative.
