ANNUAL VINTAGE TRACTOR RUN
The Three Counties Vintage Club, Carlow, Kildare and Laois, annual charity tractor road run will take place on Sunday May 20 starting at Behan’s Tolerton at 12 noon. Registration starting at 11am. Carlow Educate Together NS will be holding their annual open night on Thursday May 24 from 7pm to 8.30pm. Everyone is welcome to come along to see the different projects that have been going on in the school throughout the year.
The Vocations team in Kildare and Leighlin are holding a ‘come and see’ afternoon for those who would like to explore a priestly calling. The venue is Portlaoise Parish Centre on next Sunday May 20 from 2.30pm to 5pm. There was no winner of the recent Lotto jackpot. The numbers drawn were 11, 19, 23 and 30. The four lucky dip winners were Dan Brennan, Theresa Whelan, Breda Dargan, and Emily and Jack each will receive €25 and the sellers prize of €25 was won by Brendan Fitzpatrick. The jackpot now stands at €4,100 and tickets can be purchased for €2 from any club member or from local shop or public houses. Killeshin FC would like to thank everyone for their support of our fundraising lotto and you can see how your money is being spent by taking a trip down Joe’s road and having a look at the work on our new pitches.
