Portarlington lady Madeleine Hyland put her knitting skills to great use during the Covid-19 lock down by learning the skill of knitting baby hats.
In the past tow years Madeleine has knit hundreds of hats for new born babyies in Portlaoise hospital. Madeliene is a resident with the Muiriosa Foundation and she is so proud of her achievement and she is also so proud of the letter of thanks she received from Staff Nurse Mairead Fogarty at Portlaoise hospital.
Madeleine's friends family and friends are so very proud of her.
