LATE Mary Lalor

The death took place recently in General Hospital, Portlaoise of Mrs Mary Lalor, Cardtown, wife of Michael. Mary’s remains reposed at her residence and were brought to Camross on Sunday evening where they were received by Fr. John Lalor P.P and Fr. Pat Hennessy PP Mountrath and Fr. Walsh. Requiem Mass on Monday was celebrated by Fr. Lalor, assisted by Fr Walsh. Her remains were laid to rest in the adjoining cemetery with her six-year-old daughter Bridgie. Bridgie’s sudden death on her way home from school was the cause of great sadness to Mary all her life as it would to any parent to loose a child so young. Mary was in failing health for a good while. Mary is mourned by her husband Michael, daughter Mary, sons Fintan, Pat & Michael jnr, her brother & sister, extened family neighbours and friends. Mary was very much into GAA and politics and could always enjoy a joke and bit of craic, especially where politics are concerned. She will be sadly missed by her family.
