We are happy to be back after our long summer break and delighted to welcome three new members to our guild. We are very excited that our members will help out at the ICA stand at the National Ploughing Championships and would welcome people to come for a chat and meet us. We will attend the Laois federation meeting on September 17 at 8pm in Cullohill. As our guild is community orientated we have members of local organisations coming in to talk to our members and would invite anyone that wishes to attend to come along. In the coming months we hope to enter numerous competitions in An Grianan, which highlights the wonderful talents of our members. It may be September but we are excited and enthusiastic to be planning our Christmas party to see ‘Wicked’ in the Board Gais Theatre in December.A reminder that our monthly competion for October is a photograph of autumn.
