With good weather on the way and temperatures set to soar, there is nothing like treating yourself to a delicious 99 ice cream cone to put you in the mood for summer!
We here at Laois Live were eager to know where we could get our hands on the best 99 cone in the county, and we were not disappointed!
After putting a call-out across social media, it became quite evident that Laois delivers some seriously sweet options.

With hundreds of comments rolling in, two front runners became clear. Aidan Byrnes in Mountrath and Bracken's Gala in Portlaoise both seem have people running in the doors as soon as temperatures hits 13 degrees and above.
With honorary mentions going to Slevins' in Portarlington, along with Simpsons' and The Grandstand, both located in Stradbally, the all-important poll now remains.
What is the best? You decide!
One thing is certain, regardless of poll results, there is no shortage of excellent 99's available in Laois, so make sure to go out and get one today!
