With the Electric Picnic taking over Stradbally this weekend, last weekend’s action saw the quarter-finalists confirmed in this year’s Laois Shopping Centre Senior Football Championship, while the semi-final line-up is now set in the Intermediate Football Championship. The four teams that lost in the SFC last weekend drop into the Senior 'B' Championship, where they’ll join the sides who were beaten in both of their opening two games. In the IFC, Mountmellick and Annanough have joined Timahoe and Portlaoise in the 'B' section. In the LOETB Laois LGFA Senior Championship, Round 2 brought wins for Ballyroan over Shanahoe, Portlaoise over Sarsfields, St Conleth’s over Timahoe, and St Joseph’s against Park-Ratheniska. Oonagh Maher captured pictures from Ballyroan v Shanahoe on Tuesday evening, with the remaining photos taken by Denis Byrne for the Leinster Express/Laois Live.
