Portlaoise has given a warm welcome and even a specially composed song, to the 91 year old woman who is walking from Shannon Airport to the Dáil to protest its use by US warplanes. Lelia Doolan walked from Mountrath to Portlaoise on Wednesday, April 8 after a courtesy night in Roundwood House Hotel.
