The new series of RTÉ's Operation Transformation hit our screens last night, with county Laois as the base this year.
The show has a huge Laois slant this year, with not only two of the experts being from the county, Dr Sumi Dunne and Dr Eddie Murphy, but one of the leaders as well.

Portlaoise married mother of three Andrea Daly, 38, whose young son Dylan with special needs sadly died three years ago this month, is taking on the challenge to recover her health and happiness in life.
Laois community group SVT Activity & Wellness HUB which covers Stradbally, Vicarstown and Timahoe won the honour of hosting the hugely popular television series.
The weekly weigh-ins will be carried out in the Malthouse in Stradbally, and every episode's Ad Break Challenge with fitness expert Karl Henry will be filmed in a different Laois town or village showcasing community spirit.
Laois photographer Michael Scully took these great photographs of the very first filmed challenge in the Square Stradbally.
The next takes place in Vicarstown community hall at 7pm this Friday, and everyone is invited along to take part.
