"Our beautiful apiary is located on one of Irelands historic properties in stradbally, we are very blessed to have this space for our bees surrounded by wild native plants, pollinators and native trees," organisers said.
"We had a very enriching day welcoming people who joined us to hear about the ancient art of bee keeping.
"We had great interest in our beekeeping training and have already signed up several new students who will
join us next February to follow the ancient path of beekeeping," they said.
"We look so forward to welcoming you to our community! Thank you to Mary Hegarty from Irish historic houses for all her help, and support! To all our wonderful Volunteers who brought so much fun, laughs, stories and for given your time, thank you," organisers said.
