The beloved Irish comedic podcasters 2 Johnnies have a special place in their hearts for Laois, they confided to the Leinster Express / Laois Live while hosting the fun filled 24/7 Applegreen birthday celebration in the Midway Portlaoise on Thursday, July 24.
Johnny Smacks was first to praise what is clearly the Tipperary lads' favourite neighbouring county.
"Any day we spend in Laois is a good day. The Laois crowds are good craic. Ye could do with a big massive venue, we'd blow ye out of it," he said.
Johnny B said that "the people of Laois have been very good to us. They are always sending in stories to our podcasts, and they're often the wildest stories. They are great to support us. We love Laois. We'll be back," he said.
Crowds from Laois and other counties packed the Midway foodcourt to see four competitors belt out karaoke and take part in fun competitions, with lots of customer giveaways and discount food offers on the day too.
