Laois Pride Week took place from September 8 to 14, and one of the highlights was the joyful Laois Pride Parade.
A week of inclusive and fun events culminated in the Saturday parade down Main Street, and a family friendly festival with drag queens at Laois School of Music with a Pride Afterparty at Kavanagh’s Bar and Venue. More below photos by Renata Metelicka.

The week was organised by The Laois Pride Committee and by Midlands LGBT+ Project - the only dedicated adult LGBT+ support service of its kind in the Midlands. They hold regular support and social groups across Laois, Offaly, Kildare and Westmeath, and are open to anyone who may need support.
