Hundreds of climate activists from all over the world gathered in the lush surroundings of Ballintubbert House in Laois this week for a unique two day Climate Carnival. With Laois County Council as host sponsor, speakers such as Blindboy, Dr Tara Shine, Anja Murray, Hector Ó hEochagáin and Darina Allen combined with performers like Liam Ó Maonlaí, Jerry Fish and comedian Diane O'Connor to stir audiences into action.
The Leinster Express / Laois Live was there to capture these images. The event kicks off a month long Climate Action Festival across Laois.
