Portlaoise Jazz Festival got off to a fantastic start on Friday, January 30. The music festival returned to Laois for the St. Brigid's Bank Holiday weekend, with 40 world-class acts taking to the stage of over 20 venues across Portlaoise throughout the entire weekend.

The weekend kicked-off with The Tenters Gypsy Jazz Band playing at Portlaoise Library and Indigo Mood Duo at the Dunamaise Mezzanine. Photographer Alf Harvey captured these photos of these two great events.
