Laois secondary school St Fergal’s College in Rathdowney was proud to welcome back their 2023–2025 Leaving Certificate students on results day, August 22. Many of the 50 students, along with parents and teachers, sharing in the moment together.

“We’re really proud of this year’s group. Their results are a credit to the work they’ve put in, and it’s great to see so many of them proud of their achievements, reaching the goals and targets they had set for themselves, and feeling confident about the next step in their journey.
"A large number of students achieved over 400 points, and we were especially delighted for Brianna Bergin, who achieved over 500. More importantly, it’s clear that all our students are leaving here ready for the future: positive, determined and excited about what lies ahead.”
"The morning was full of smiles, gratitude for our teachers, and well-deserved congratulations for the Class of 2025," the Rathdowney principal added.
