The Downtown Portlaoise traders group made sure Christmas got off to a fantistic start in the Laois County town on Friday, November 24 with the Christmas Lights special.
They're grateful for Santa for coming along to turn on the Christmas Lights and to greet so many children. Downtown Portlaoise also thanked everyone who has made the Christmas Lights possible again this year.
Then thanked the amazing young harpists who kicked off the evening, Jack Nolan MC, Cathaoirleach Cllr Pascal McEvoy, Mark Martley, Danny McNulty, all our amazing Downtown volunteers, and to the wonderful Portlaoise Children’s Choir who performed so well for all the crowds.
