WATCH Warning that NEW Covid-19 lockdown in Laois Offaly Kildare cannot be ruled out

The Acting Chief Medical Officer Dr Ronan Glynn has urged the people of Laois Offaly an Kildare to double down on containing the coronavirus.

Various meat factories in Kildare and Offaly are responsible for the clusters but people living in surrounding countries have been infected.

Answering questions at the NPHET daily briefing he said a lockdown could not be ruled out.
