Rain didn't douse huge chants of 'Free Free Mo Chart' and 'Free Palestine' that reverberated around the Electric Picnic festival site in Stradbally as Kneecap performed on the Main Stage on Saturday afternoon.
Mo Chara, Móglaí Bap and DJ Próvaí have been outspoken voices for Palestinians at festivals through the summer some of which led to them being banned.
They told the crowd that they will talk about Palestine on stage at every gig to talk until something changes in Palestine.
They were also critical of the housing crisis, blaming the two main Government parties, Fianna Fáil and Fine Gael.
They also thanked Melvin Benn of Festival Republic for booking them, while some festivals have cancelled their performances.
