Camross star Grainne Delaney scored a goal within a minute to set Laois on their way to All-Ireland Final victor in Croke Park in the Premier Junior All-Ireland Final in Croke Park.
The forward said she was "absolutely delighted", saying the pain of the one-point loss to Tipperary in last year's decider was used to its fullest to motivate Laois to a victory over Armagh.
"For sure, that was absolutely devastating last year and we didn't want to feel the same. It was only a one point (loss) and we used that as a driving force," she said.
She was modest about her early goal and performance overall.
"There is 14 others out there and you can't do it without everybody else," she said.
She commented on a match which saw Laois behind or level for long periods of the game.
"You just have to keep putting the points over and stay plugging away and plugging away and fighting. No ball is a dead ball you have to stay going and stay going," said the wing forward.
