WATCH: Laois Rose hopeful Sarah Palmer is a well-known beautician in Abbeyleix

As proud local media sponsor of the Laois Rose of Tralee 2019, the Leinster Express is happy to introduce this year's Laois Rose hopefuls.

Introducing Laois Rose 2019 entrant Sarah Palmer from the Laois/Kilkenny border. Watch her introduction video above and read her profile below.

"Hi my name is Sarah Palmer. I am 28 years old I am from Kilkenny (very near the Laois border). I am a beautician for the last 10years and now I have my own fabulous little salon in the gorgeous little town of Abbeyleix. It is my own salon so I work very long days but I enjoy every second of it in the salon with the other girls and of course my fabulous clients.

"I love helping people! Every day I’m lucky enough to do that with my job! It's amazing the small things that can lift people and seeing people lifted, lifts me!
"Even though my work life is busy I will always find the time to dance. I love dancing.
My other hobbies include gentle exercises like pilates and yoga. I love eating out and trying new restaurants and cafes.
"Ego Boost Hair and Beauty Salon in Abbeyleix is my sponsor. I will represent this salon, myself and all the girls to the best I can. I’m very excited about this opportunity and I’m really looking forward to the experience!!"
