WATCH NOW - Leo Varadkar says Status Red blizzards to lead to 'whiteout'

Taoiseach Leo Varadkar has warned the public that a whiteout is on the cards form the blizzard that will results from the Storm Emma and Beast from the east.

Mr Varadkar and a number of other Ministers attended the latest meeting of the National Emergency Coordination Group.

He urged people stay indoors from 4pm.
