Portlaoise hospital campaigner John Hanniffy has thrown his suport behind a new campaign in Galway to halt the downgrade of Portiuncula Hospital in Ballinasloe.
Mr Hanniffy returned to his home town on Saturday, August 16 to give his experience of how Laois people fought and stopped the downgrade of the Midlands Regional Hospital Portlaoise.
