Nurses are marching on the picket line in Laois this Wednesday January 30 to strike for better conditions and pay.
Pickets were mounted at Midlands Regional Hospital Portlaoise and at St Fintan's HSE campus where community health services are located.
Nurses are also in dispute at community nursing units in Mountmellick, Abbeyleix and Shaen near Portlaoise.
