TWO SUPERSTARS of the music industry were spotted busking on a Limerick street ahead of their performance in the city on Monday evening.
Cian Ducrot and Ella Henderson performed their duet Rest of Our Days to stunned onlookers outside Brown Thomas on O'Connell Street in the city centre.
Former X-Factor star Ella flew in to support the Irish singer-songwriter at his sold-out show at the Big Top at the Milk Market in Limerick city on Monday night.
One of Cian's fans, Emily Hinsley, said the crowds that gathered to watch the duo were "so surprised" at the impromptu gig.
"My aunt, mam and I are going to see him tonight and we spotted him outside the Milk Market and we followed him as far as Brown Thomas.
"He started singing and then more people arrived before Ella joined him. He sang three songs and then headed back up for his gig".
The pair also duetted on Cian's hit song All For You to delighted passersby who stopped in their tracks to take in the stunning performance.
26 year-old Cian shot to fame last year with his song All For You and followed it up with the massively popular I'll Be Waiting.
The songwriter has been performing sold-out shows across the country for the last number of months with numerous appearances in Limerick already.
Ella competed on the 2012 edition of The X-Factor and was a strong favourite to win but she lost out on a place in the quarter-final after losing to eventual series winner James Arthur in the sing-off.
Since then, she has released two studio albums and in 2015 she was nominated for two Brit Awards.
