The 2023 Laois Rose has been selected.
After a wonderful night in the Midlands Park Hotel where 17 worthy winners took to the stage, it was time for MC Ollie Turner to open the envelope.
The winner who is off to the Rose of Tralee representing Laois this August, is New York native, Sinead Dowd from Cullohill.
Serenaded as is tradition by Laois singer Joe Laffan, Scoil Chriost Ri teacher Sinead said she was "shocked and excited" to win.
