With the Laois Rose selection night taking place on April 18, eight of the Laois Rose candidates paid a visit to the Leinster Express / Laois Live HQ to introduce themselves.
We spoke to Portlaoise woman Ellen Carol Holland, Alannah O'Connell from Ballybrittas, Lisa Hainsworth from Portarlington, Elizabeth Donovan from Mountrath, Ellie O'Sullivan from Rathdowney, Ella Maeve Ryan from Portlaoise, Kelsey Nolan from Graiguecullen, and Karina Kotlara from Portlaoise.
The Laois Rose hopefuls are just eight of a group of 18 who will take part in this year's selection night in the Midlands Park Hotel, Portlaoise.
The current reigning Rose of Tralee, New Zealand Rose Keely O'Grady, recently spoke to The Leinster Express / Laois Live about the highlights of her whirlwind year, and gave some words of advice for Laois Rose entrants.
