The excitement is palpable as the 2025 International Rose of Tralee Festival fast approaches, with just a couple of sleeps to go until the official opening ceremony on Friday.
Iconic Media's Aisling Magner spoke to Laois' Katelyn Cummins at the tour's Limerick stop ahead of the RTÉ broadcast.
Katelyn is a 20 year old electrical apprentice from Ballyouskill which is on the border of Laois and Kilkenny. She is honoured to get the opportunity to partake in the Rose of Tralee and is looking forward to making friends with all her fellow 31 roses.
The Rose of Tralee international festival is a celebration of Irish heritage, friendship, and pride that continues to capture hearts around the island of Ireland and the world.
The Rose of Tralee will be available to watch for free, live and on-demand by audiences in Ireland and around the world on RTÉ Player. Features, archive footage, behind-the-scenes content and more will also be available across RTÉ.ie and RTÉ social media platforms over the coming days.
