WATCH: Laois publican wants help tracking down suspected Portlaoise pub thief

Footage of an alleged burglary in Laois has been circulated

A Laois pub that experienced a break in on Thursday, January 8, has shared dramatic footage online of the incident.

Stapo deBrun's at Humes on Portlaoise's main street have alleged that a break-in occurred at 6am on Thursday.

The business has posted footage of the incident, featuring an individual appearing to use a keg and a wheelie bin to climb through a small window above the entrance.

Publican Liam Brown has told the Leinster Express / Laois Live that a sum of money was taken, while the business sustained damage to a window.

Gardaí have been contacted for comment.
